Staffordshire University has become one of the country’s leading institutions for those looking to forge a career in esports. At their Digital Institute located in London they guide students through a number of courses to lead them into one of the UK’s highest growth sectors. This week they are partnering on a brand new event, Stack Fest, to showcase all the industry has to offer.

Stack Fest is the major new esports festival launching this week and tickets are available to buy now. With three different day streams there is content and action guaranteed to thrill everyone from the everyday player to those building their career in the sector. For those already working in the industry, Thursday’s Esports Ambition programme is packed full of insightful sessions. For students, including those at Staffordshire University and beyond, Friday’s Talent Aspiration will present them with the best careers advice and next steps guidance. Then for those who love to play, families, and everyday gamers, Saturday’s Player Action will bring the best of esports to everybody with simulators, panel sessions and talks.

The event all takes place from Thursday 9th – Saturday 11th September. Stack Fest will feature a range of opportunities targeted at those at different points on their esports journey, from established industry professionals to students and casual players. 

Stack Fest is set to become a landmark event in the UK esports calendar. The festival will be held in the stunning location of Here East, located on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Here East boasts tenants including the likes of BT Sport, Sports Interactive, Fiit, Bidstack, Staffordshire University London and Plexal (Here East’s Innovation centre). It is home to over 4,500 academics and innovators, offering the perfect inspiring setting for anyone looking to start or further develop their esports career.
